Nuuk has basically become garrison town. We ( civilians) cannot access parts of the Harbor area any longer. I don't ask too many questions, as the authorities don't want eyes on who comes and goes. Areas of Qinngorput suburb are off-limits, as the Danish military have moved an undisclosed amount of materiel into the area.

Um, the US has this thing called Alaska which tends to be on the cold side. It has soldiers who train there regularly. It also has a whole lot of logistic capability to move stuff like coats and mittens. And it's silly anyways since if the US really wanted Greenland the easy way would be to offer the inhabitants a fuck ton of money to vote in favor of it. They may not want to become Americans, but a situation like the Marshall Islands and $5 million a head might well change their minds.
