@_JeremyBooth Data is 10000% more reliable. Now data can lie, you can manipulate it to get results you want but objective data is better than a dude saying “well back in my day...” then talking about a bunch of stuff that is the opposite of how it actually was, it’s just how he felt about it

Here is someone who believes people actually playing, evaluating, or building clubs that has baseball life hands on experience knows less than numbers. No evidence of proof he’s doing it or has done it at the highest level to prove it. Just theory. This is dangerous to the game.

@_JeremyBooth Let me ask you a simple question: If you asked 100 players if they'd rather see 100mph down the middle or 90mph on the corner, what would you do when half of them picked one and half picked the other? Your "I trust the authority figures!" approach falls flat on its face.
