Is TDD back? I guess agents could bring it back but the problem is that nobody wants to write an extensive testing suite. It would be beneficial since you could 'vibecode' the black box that has to pass the tests and see how it goes. Just can't let the AI cheat.

You can use the quadratic formula to make homing missiles properly lead and hit their target. I've used this in games for like a decade. I wish they'd use examples like that in math class. Give practical/fun examples. I hated math b/c it was too abstract. Gamedev made it fun.

Everyone uses LLM chat bots for “learning” but it’s too easy to just ask it to do stuff for you. Maybe agents can make it more interesting to learn (specifically code) where you can have infinitely generated options for work on a skill/algorithm/best practice/etc.Very similar to leetcode but instead of algorithms practice it can be anything that an LLM is capable of generating the “harness” for. Algorithms, type coersion, “fix the bug in here”, polymorphism, types of programming (procedural/object oriented/functional/etc.) then it writes tests to handle the output. Maybe there is a leetcode equivalent of this already or they have already added this kind of thing (haven’t used that site in years) but just being able to get a “course” in some thing you are struggling to understand and then be able to write code that works and runs against tests would be awesome. I might work on this over the next couple weeks and see if I can anything good.

I want the meta recording glasses only to record those incredible moments with my kids. All other recordings are completely irrelevant and I actually don’t want it. But part of the incredible feeling you get from those moments is that you know they are fleeting. Recording them probably makes them more numbed like everything else in life these days.
