@GregBerge He literally left his players on the court to fend for themselves at the end of the game. It may have been strategic. If so, it was to keep him from having to discuss how badly he was out coached.

Not defending Geno by any stretch but ESPN showed the scorer’s table video of him waiting on Dawn after the player intros, as is custom. That’s what he’s referring to, where he stood there for nothing (getting his ego hurt, probably). Still, c’mon Geno. Ridiculous.

@paigeslesb Because UConn relies mostly on jump shots. Good teams do not foul jump shooters. SC plays much more of an inside out post game that general produces more foul calls. For many years UConn got the benefit of the doubt far too often but those days are slipping away.

Two years ago after an obvious moving screen was called against UConn in the Final Four. A great coach but the sorest loser. GENO AURIEMMA: “I mean, there's probably an illegal screen call that you could make on every single possession. I just know there were three or four of them called on us and I don't think there were any called on them. So I guess we just gotta get better on not setting illegal screens.”

Horrible look, and should be called out for it. He got OUTCOACHED. Plain and simple. And gets in her face like she did something wrong to him instead of being gracious. Had Dawn Staley acted like that we would be all over her. #HorribleGENO!
