@HuesmannKyle Absolutely! But in WBB, I would take it further because there is a wide disparity between elite teams and the rest of D1. Based on rankings when the game was played, UConn had only 1 top 5 game all year. South Carolina had 6 (3 against Texas)

Is it possible that UConn not playing against a top 15 team since December wasn’t very helpful?

Geno can rant and rave about the officiating all he wants and he might even have a point
But it doesn't really matter, SC was the better team today and it is not even particularly close
If I'm Geno I am demanding that UConn join the ACC or something like tomorrow
You just cannot have your last meaningful game be played in December or whenever and expect to be ready for the tournament, I don't care how good you are, those conference games have to be more than exhibition games or you get.... well, this
