Respectfully, if someone doesn’t think about Texas, they probably don’t pay very close attention to college baseball. They’ve gone to the CWS 3x post Augie, (you could take Augie out and they would still have the most CWS apps of any program), currently #2 in the nation, won the SEC last year, and made what was probably the most high profile coaching hire in college baseball history. There are compelling arguments for other teams at #2, but “nobody thinks about Texas” isn’t it.
