The Computer Science in Action enrichment day by @edu_in_action seems to get better each year! On Wednesday, our Transitus A-level CS pupils enjoyed a series of engaging talks on UX Design, Smart Cities and Machine Learning, Quantum Computing and Web Development. @UCSHampstead

We had a fantastic day at @computermuseum in Cambridge. Our Remove CS pupils were treated to a history tour of computers, an interactive workshop on the CPU, a programming class using BBC BASIC and some time to explore computer games from the 70s onwards! @UCSHampstead

Today's final #CSBreakfast session of the year was on how AI enabled #AlphaGo to beat a world champion Go player! This was the icing on the cake of what has been an incredibly well delivered and organised series of sessions on CS theory... all from a pupil in Y8! @UCSHampstead

Yesterday, we took our computer science students who have been involved in the @CamdenCleanAir CAPS Project to visit @Google HQ at Pancras Square to celebrate their achievements and discuss future solutions for cleaner air.

Last week, we were privileged to host @arkitus, a research scientist at Google @DeepMind, for a fascinating talk on A.I. and Machine Learning at our very popular A.I. Society. Highlights included #AlphaGo, the first computer to defeat a Go world champion. @ucshampstead
