That is how you negotiate in the Middle East.

The experience as the director he says changed him and opened his eyes. He says he also barely read anything about geopolitics except the anti-Israel book by Mearsheimer and Walt. Joe started his job in July 2025. He lasted 7 months. So for how long has he tried to follow geopolitics according to him? When I hear him talk about geopolitics it’s very obvious to me he’s a complete international relations dilettante. What’s interesting is he sort of acknowledges that if you listen closely to his autobiography.
