Killing someone over blasphemy is not Islam.❌ Search the entire Quran, you will not find a single verse where God commands the death of someone for insulting the faith. Not one. What you will find instead is a pattern. People mock, reject, insult, and God responds with patience, warning, and ultimately judgement in His own time. Never a mob. Never a blade in the hands of offended men. So where did these laws come from? Not from God. From men. Men who feared losing control. Men who turned religion into a shield for power, using “blasphemy” as a weapon to silence dissent and crush uncomfortable questions. Any law that claims divine authority but cannot stand on the Quran alone is not sacred. It is strategy. And anything built on manipulation, no matter how religious it sounds, deserves to be rejected without apology.❌

@georgegalloway None of countries would have existed without the British. Or did you think they always existed and the Ottoman Empire was a fairy tail? Bahrain was founded in 1766 and is to this day ruled by descendants of its founders. Why do Muslims think history only started in 1918?

Not a contradiction. Both readings say the same thing: his wife is excluded and destroyed. The wording differs, not the meaning. Your own Bible does this too. Example: Judas’ death •Matthew 27:5: he hangs himself •Acts 1:18: he falls and bursts open Different descriptions of the same event.

@MasterMaliq It has to be noted that this is the new Qu'ran compiled in 1924 called the Cairo edition. If there had been a perfectly preserved Qu'ran, it would have not needed this new version. I have family members older than this Qu'ran.

If I had to choose between the Quran and the Bible, I’d pick the Quran. It’s one clear, direct message from God,preserved perfectly, no contradictions, no later edits. Straight tawhid, simple guidance, timeless. The Bible is a collection of many books by many authors over centuries, with differences and interpretations layered on top. For pure, unaltered divine guidance? Quran all the way. What would you choose?

@ggreenwald @RodDMartin And prior to Hamas, Gazans could walk freely into Jerusalem. There was limited restrictions on who could go there for work, so long as you had ID. Hamas was founded in 1987. The permit system was introduced in 1991. Go educate yourself.

Cheapest EVs now in Oz about $24K, which compares particularly well with the cost of the petrol ones, on the money you save on fuel - and maintenance. Often discounted is that there is bugger-all maintenance costs, 'cos there aint 1000 things that can go wrong.
