If I was arunachali and had to choose between assamese and hindi, I would pick hindi (no hate to assamese language), hindi is a neutral language that is useful across India, whereas assamese is only limited to assam. Jai hind 🇮🇳

Bengali was the largest language of pre partition Assam. Assamese speakers made up less than a third of the state. After 1947, the proportion of Assamese speakers went up sharply to 57%, as Muslims of Bengali origin returned Assamese as their mother tongue census. But now the CM is saying this was "fraud". “What is the benefit if one doesn’t speak Assamese at home but writes Assamese as their mother tongue?" @ZamanRokibuz_ reports. scroll.in/article/109362…

@BUnunited81649 @axomiyashakta @DikshaKandpal8 You son of bastard, if you are able to live respectfully as a Brahman today in Assam, it is because of our great Ahom kings, who protected and patronized Brahmin priests. Your entire bloodline is indebted to us and can never repay that debt. So shut the fuck up you mf aashole!

Guwahati is leading the Northeast My father once took a train all the way to Kolkata in the 80s… Just to buy a Wren & Martin Solution Book from College Street. That was the era when Kolkata was the cultural headquarters of East India. From Bhupen Hazarika to Lakshminath Bezbaruah, all our legends made a Kolkata pit stop. Cut to 2025: We only go to Kolkata now for one thing, that is Visa appointments. (And even that list is shrinking faster than the Howrah Bridge paint job.) Because today, Guwahati has become the hub of the entire Northeast. A city that once needed Kolkata for everything now gets visa approvals for 60+ countries on its own turf. Kolkata is no longer our gateway to the world, Guwahati is. (From Northeast) Northeast India is becoming self-sufficient. And Guwahati is quietly (and sometimes loudly) leading the charge. Saurav Kumar Chaliha once had to create a fictional assignment to glorify Guwahati. We don’t have to do that anymore. The city speaks for itself. 🚉✨

@nibirdeka Tell your assamese migrants to leave kolkata immediately, do you things in Guwahati
