"Disunity among Indians led to conquest by foreign invaders" is a convenient & frequently occurring myth. But that's all it is, a myth. (Thread follows) This line of reasoning is pushed by colonial historians in order to justify "India deserves to be colonised". CONT... 1/n

Gold necklaces. Armlets. Bangles. Silver ornaments. Copper furnaces. Steatite bead workshops. Fired kilns. Kunal, Haryana. Dried bed of the Saraswati. Carbon-14 dated: 5700–6000 BCE. **7,700 years old.** Look at what emerged. Three occupation phases. Pit dwellings evolved into planned rectangular mud-brick houses with organized layouts. Then workshops appeared. Copper smelting. Bead manufacturing. Systematic craft production. Then the gold. A complete hoard. Necklace beads. An armlet. Bangle fragments. Semi-precious stones. Archaeologists call this **"the earliest remains of pre-Harappan culture in India."** The gold regalia? **"First of its kind."** Now notice what this proves. • Planned architecture: 5700 BCE • Copper metallurgy: 5700 BCE • Craft specialization: 5700 BCE • Ornamental culture: 5700 BCE Mohenjo-daro reaches its peak around 2500 BCE. That's a **3,000-year gap**. Three millennia of developed settlement culture **before** what textbooks call "the Indus Valley Civilization." On the bed of a river colonial scholarship dismissed as mythological. The Saraswati. So here's what shifts. This isn't pre-civilization. This is early-phase civilization. The timeline we inherited cuts off 3,000 years of continuity. Kunal doesn't rewrite history. It **extends** it. The question isn't what we're not being taught. The question is: how long does it take for excavated evidence to become accepted history? 🏛️

People keep complaining about @IndiGo6E ground handling so here’s my experience today at Khajuraho airport. Three check in counters open & manned but two refuse to accept passengers. Every one is directed to one counter manned by a trainee. As I am checking in I ask the counter supervisor why the other counters won’t accept passengers. “They are only for fast forward.” Me: I thought there was no fast forward any longer! “It’s not on the site but we do have it” Me: What do you get in fast forward? “You get priority baggage handling and priority boarding.” Me: If I had known I would have taken it. “You can still take it.” I hand over my credit card. He swipes it. As the luggage is being tagged I notice there is. no Fast Forward tag and ask about it. “ We stopped doing priority baggage handling for Fast Forward. It only gives you priority check in. “ But I had already checked in. I wouldn’t have taken it if you hadn’t told me about priority baggage handling . “I never said priority baggage handling.” Yes you did . I heard you. “Okay at least you can board any time you like.” I ask for the manager. The supervisor insists he never said anything about baggage handling. Manager: “I will not accept that my staff are lying.” But you think I am lying? He shrugs. The sum of money is small & the issue is minor. But given how much we have heard about the culture of lying in @indigo , firing one gora scapegoat may not be enough. The rot has infected the culture

Out of all the "promises" made by TMC, the most dangerous is the last. TMC will create seven new districts in the state that will be Muslim dominated ☪️ 1. Sundarban: Carved out of South 24 Parganas. 2. Ichhemati: Carved out of North 24 Parganas. 3. Basirhat: Carved out of North 24 Parganas. 4. Ranaghat: Carved out of Nadia. 5. Bishnupur: Carved out of Bankura. 6. Jangipur: Carved out of Murshidabad. 7. Behrampore : Carved out of Murshidabad You had 3/19 Muslim majority districts in the state in 2011. After this, the number will skyrocket to 10/26

He is Imran Khan, a police constable. In Aligarh (UP), a girl went to file a rape complaint. He kept her complaint and told her to call him. On the call, he said her FIR would be registered only if she had a physical relationship with him, and even asked for nude photos. He also threatened to jail her if she reported him. These people have the same mentality no matter where they are or what position they hold. Just imagine how many other women he might have exploited in the same way, cases that never came to light.

Apparently my earlier post has ticked off this group on Reddit, which predictably, posts absolutely nothing on NE culture & traditions, but keeps cribbing all the time about us vs. them; NE vs mainland 😅 You can see the level of hate & language for yourselves against Arunachalis: "You will never be accepted as a mainlander no matter how much of a fake Indian accent you try to put on, how much Hindi you speak, how much you say "India mera papa hai", how much you try to display your patriotism and say you aren't Chinese or whatever other cucked activity you do to get their validation. You will never be apart of them. You will always have much more in common with US, your fellow NEerns, than a bunch of Rajesh's who either hate or fetishise you deep down. It's time to get on the board with us, Arunachalis." In short: "do as we say, or else......" . As if it's a big conspiracy that the rest of India wants to eradicate Arunachal or something 🙄 reddit.com/r/Northeastind…

Unlike Indian street dogs, cows are hardly stray. Each belongs to a shepherd. While we may make a law mandating them to clean cow dung on our streets, remember that the urban space we occupy today was once a village, exclusively theirs. Suddenly, our concrete jungle came up, and we are now telling them that their way of living, including defecating wherever they want and whenever nature calls, does not suit our walks and drives! In contrast, dogs never had a habitat. Their ancestors approached us in the greed for food. We domesticated a section of them, for which we have to be responsible. The undomesticated section cannot have rights because it was never their area that we took over.

Dog poop should be picked up by pet owners. I concur with that. Who will pick up cow poop?

Sir, the Palk Strait is deceptively shallow. At its shallowest point (the Ram Setu), the water is sometimes only 1-3 m deep. A true Ro-Ro car ferry, the kind that carries 100+ SUVs requires a deep draft (it sits deep in the water). A heavy car ferry would literally ground itself on the sandbars of Ram Setu. For a moment, we assume this gets taken care of. Now, to take our Indian registered car to Sri Lanka, we need a Carnet de Passages en Douane (CPD) essentially a passport for our car that requires a massive bank guarantee (often 200% of the car's value). Cos India & Sri Lanka have high import duties on vehicles, the Corrupt Use Case is too high. Authorities fear people would take a ferry & then lose the car in the other country to sell it for a profit. W/o a Bilateral Road Transport Agreement, a car ferry is economically dead on arrival.
Cyrus Dhabhar@CyrusDhabhar

Why do we not have a car ferry that takes us from India to Sri Lanka?

In 2021, during my 4,500 km Narmada Parikrama across multiple states, the only place where I faced needless harassment from traffic police was near Chandwad Ghat in Maharashtra. All my documents were clear, yet I was stopped, questioned unnecessarily, and troubled for no real reason. The excuse was a tiny chip on one corner of my rear-view mirror. It was not broken, visibility was completely clear, and the car was fully drivable. After travelling thousands of kilometers across several states without any issue, this felt less like enforcement and more like pure harassment.
JIX5A@JIX5A

Shame on @MahaPolice ! “Even if we have all the vehicle documents, these people still want ₹500. Just because we come from Gujarat and enter Maharashtra, we have to pay them. Whoever agrees with this, comment and tag Maharashtra Police.”

History is based on evidences, rather than emotions. Let's check the evidences : 1) Between 1605-1622, Jahangir sent 100,000 Rs annually to Mecca; 2) Amber candel stick gift worth 250,000 by Shah Jahan sent to Mecca in 1637; 3) 10 lakh ruppes sent by Shah Jahan to Mecca, for repairs on mosques Reference: Tuzuk-i-Jahangiri and Padshahnama 4) 6.60 lakh rupees sent by Aurangzeb to Mecca in 1659; 5) Money sent again in 1662, 1665, 1672, amounting to lakhs of rupees. Reference: Maasir-i-Alamgiri, reference also from writings of François Bernier. P. S: Only God knows what exactions normal people had to go through for this drain of money to foreign lands.

Mughals looted India? And took the loot where? That's why India was the richest kingdom in the world at that time? Little knowledge is a dangerous things, but is the basis of Sanghi confidence.

People really don't seem to understand that Malaysia is basically a first world economies at this point. Salaries are even higher there for most tech roles than in London + most European cities now. Especially around Penang, which is very notable given its not the main economic engine of the country but is a huge semiconductor/engineering hub, and around Johor, which is Southeast Asia's data hub. The world has transformed massively in the past generation. The Malaysian Century.

Malaysia has overtaken Japan in salaries for key technology roles for the first time, driven by rising investment in the booming semiconductor industry and intensifying competition in digital sectors. s.nikkei.com/40D2o4E
