It has been a while since I wrote about football. But I was too excited after Wednesday and I really wanted to just write about Bayern. This is an informal read (apologies for the bias). Article link is given down below. Will try and do more informative pieces soon!

Disagree. Most the time the narrative is "cause he's doing it in the bundesliga", in fact it takes much more to be rated
A@abz8821

@omarIittle Iโ€™m not disagreeing but you canโ€™t argue the fact scrutiny is very low outside of the prem. Play for any side in France Spain or Germany all you have to do is a good champions league run to be regarded a top player

@8esart no i feel confident we win bcs your defense is not that good, conceding 4 goals to this madrid side is a crime, and us beating chelsea while having less than 1 xg means we are extremely clinical and dont blow many chances which is what your team has to watch out for

damn man what a great, human written tweet. That wasnt just an opinion, it was a hitpiece.

In recent days, reports began to surface suggesting that Jamal Musiala could start against Real Madrid, largely due to concerns around Serge Gnabryโ€™s knee discomfort, and what followed was not measured discussion, but outright outrage, a wave of doubt from parts of the fanbase and neutrals alike, questioning his readiness, questioning his form, and ultimately questioning whether he belonged on a stage of this magnitude so soon after returning from injury. Jamal Musiala absorbed all of it, took it personally, and responded like the generational talent he is, stepping on as a substitute and immediately taking control, dictating tempo, breaking lines, carrying the ball with authority, forcing Real Madrid into constant reactions, drawing crucial fouls, and playing a direct role in Eduardo Camavingaโ€™s first yellow and eventual dismissal, while delivering a moment of pure brilliance, a sublime assist later voted Assist of the Week by UEFA for Luis Dรญaz, a contribution that didnโ€™t just influence the game, but ultimately decided the entire tie. This wasnโ€™t just impact, this was authority, this wasnโ€™t just a response, this was a statement, Jamal didnโ€™t just silence the noise, he rose above it in real time, and now the internal dynamic is shifting rapidly, because what once looked like a careful reintegration has turned into an unavoidable conclusion, the push into the starting eleven is no longer a matter of patience, but of necessity.

Btw the commentators last night... they watch and comment on football, like giving a film review without audio and just commenting on the visuals as if thats representative of the fucking film quality. So annoying.
