Understood. In the beginning 99% of trading went through an orderbook. It was arguably the best speculative experience Cardano ever had. The UX can be exponentially better today for advanced trading via orderbook working together with AMMs. Orderbooks will truly shine for HFT when Leios & L2 like @midgardprotocol go live.

@WizardCardano It's one reason among many why I originally supported what geniusyield was attempting early on as a pure order book dex. They were just a little ahead of their time.

Batchers can fulfill a stronger purpose on Cardano to justify these fees but not like this. Today, they exist by design, not by demand. We already have the ultimate middleman: The Cardano ledger 🌎

@OzDefi We are trying to target end of this month, might be early next month. Depends on how successful the testing goes with our first dex integration. But very soon.

@ItsDave_ADA Cardano is the most advanced implementation of the UTxO model in production today. How do we bundle all of these in to a unified narrative for Cardano’s roadmap? Definitely not enough coverage on this.

Cardano has several major initiatives progressing in parallel. - Leios working on scaling. - Bitcoin DeFi bringing new liquidity and interoperability. - LayerZero integration expanding cross chain connectivity. - Pyth integration providing oracle infrastructure and external market data. - Starstream focused on privacy. - Amaru improving node diversity and client resilience. - Midnight building privacy focused smart contract capability. Each of these addresses a different structural layer of the blockchain. Scaling, liquidity, interoperability, infrastructure, privacy, and decentralisation. When taken together, it is one of the more ambitious development roadmaps currently underway in the entire blockchain industry. Do not forget about Cardano.

Cross DEX execution. Wizard orders are created in a universal format that are not tied to any specific DEX. Bots can route them wherever execution is best. Two routing paths exist: Forward → convert the order to a DEX order and send it there Transform → reshape the order so a DEX pool can consume it directly Integrations are modular through external routing validators so any new DEXs can be added without touching the core protocol or breaking existing strategies.
