**Rare Road Cars** 🇯🇵 The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS 1 of 3,850 17m Yen which is around £80,200 Only 3,051 km This car is for sale at a dealer in Japan. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS (1999–2001) is a lightweight, rally-focused variant of the iconic JDM sedan, designed for motorsport competition. Featuring a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4G63 engine (276bhp) it boasts a stripped-out interior, close-ratio 5-speed gearbox, and stronger limited-slip differentials without comforts like ABS or electric windows.  Performance Focus: The RS ("Rally Sport") was designed for competitors, with reduced sound-deadening and no Active Yaw Control (AYC) or anti-lock brakes, resulting in a lighter car than the GSR. Mechanical Upgrades: It features a faster-spooling titanium-aluminide turbine wheel, a quicker steering rack, and enhanced strengthening brace bars (front grille/boot floor). Interior/Exterior: Included basic GLX seats, wind-up windows, and 16-inch O.Z. Racing wheels, with air conditioning often listed as an option. RS Sprint: A rare, UK-imported version tuned by Ralliart with increased power and improved performance, according to Collecting Cars. Tommi Makinen Edition (TME) RS: The most coveted RS version, often featuring specialized front bumper, 10mm lower suspension, and unique interior trim.  Expensive but I suppose find another one 🤯 📷 Shared by Mark Hocking Specialist Vehicles 👏🏻👏🏻 @MitsubishiUK #wrc #mitsubishievo #rs #cars

@_Rsydn_ @WRCPAST I am simply illustrating that your point does not stand at all Any ‘faithful' CN/CP9A replicas w/ 4G63T&AWD would require immense labour/parts cost that comes close to buying a genuine one. Even with the body-cut swap the chassis rigidity is still nowhere near as a real one.

@Z2Manufacturing @WRCPAST people had been having this exact argument on forums back then & now social media for years, as I was saying: "we're not rally drivers who extremely sensitive to feedback from chassis"

@ImMKumaran @WRCPAST Mainly for weight reduction and ease of maintenance under competitive situations. Also the AYC pump is located right behind the rear right wheel which makes it fragile to road debris damage and prone to rust. Very common problem for Evos.

@WRCPAST Wait, removing AYC helps performance?

@_Rsydn_ @WRCPAST You can't. Night-and-day difference in chassis rigidity. Different undercarriage layout. CK Lancers can't take the Evo rear diff and drivetrain without extensive metalwork done to the chassis/unibody, which further weakens the structural rigidity.

@WRCPAST Lancer CK (199x) convert with IV/V/VI parts & you get most driving experiences of Lan-Evo with fraction the cost of actual Lan-Evo most drivers can't even tell the differences, we're not rally drivers who extremely sensitive to feedback from chassis

apparently someone made a "style explorer" database for a recent ai image model... which just. ends up documenting over 10,000 artists who's art was stolen to make that model. it even has a little search bar to let you check if your art was stolen! how thoughtful.
