Jason schreirer about Crimson Desert:
“boring and soulless that I absolutely did not want to play anymore.
Feels like a game designed for people who just want to Consume Content.”
@a_space_alien@Nikfor_ I normally play it on Series X and PC. And my favorite is by far the Sorcerer, followed by the Thief and the Trickster. Doesn't run this well on Series X though.
I’m actually replaying Dragon’s Dogma II right now, not so much for the story (which is offensively boring) but for the severely mindless fun combat with an AI party. Looks AMAZING on PS5 Pro with PSSR 2.0!👀
I’ll likely wait a bit for Pearl Abyss to clean up Crimson Desert more, then. But I am DEFINITELY getting SAROS!

Since there were a lot of mentions that Crimson Desert looked like what Dragon’s Dogma 2 should’ve been.
Crimson Desert currently has a lower Metacritic score (77) than Dragon’s Dogma 2 (86).
@Nikfor_ My only issue with DD2 is that it never ran very optimized, which is very rare because the RE Engine is incredibly optimized. Game's incapable of maintaining stable 60fps on Series X.

❌ "La película es malísima. Muy mala en pantalla y en papel. No me reí ni una sola vez y se supone que es una comedia"
😒 "No me hace gracia porque todo son diálogos y chistes de cuñado. Y cinematográficamente, peor aún"
@eurogamer The game simply should have included character creation. Locking the main character this way was a terrible idea.
There's no magic, and stealth gameplay is at 20% only.
Crimson Desert is a technically proficient game with killer combat (pesky lock-on aside). Yet its characters and story are fatally undercooked.

@xMBGx I preordered the deluxe edition. Whatever flaws it may have, I'm sure they'll be polished and we'll se lots of updates and additions.
Zero concerns there.
