@F1losopher @TeoOrts The double standards are massive: - Austria 2019, Verstappen was ahead on inside, it was his corner Leclerc wasn’t allowed to steer in too much - Silverstone 2021, Lewis was no way near as much alongside, he literally tapped Max on the rear but still they say Max shouldn’t steer

@F1losopher The only reason for the lock up was Lewis forcing him more and more to the dirty part of the track. The move was an attempt to do a legit overtake but Lewis brakes very late and forced the lock up. Still his cult see evil everywhere but at Lewis.

@unnoticedF1 @ironatcox @amal_shura So when someone does a legit pass, all by the rules as specified clearly by the people after Brazil.. then you can just cut the corner and take it back But if you pass around the outside and only go wide on exit because the guy loves tapping rear wheels… then you give it back..

Max spent the entire race shaking so badly he was going off track and locking up every other lap. He was comprehensively outperformed when it mattered and had to rely on a corrupt race director colluding with his team found guilty of sporting misconduct to get a result.

@unnoticedF1 @ironatcox @amal_shura He kept the main advantage: position, he might have given up a bit of time, but he gained a position and held it. When Verstappen passed slightly offtrack to avoid sidepod damage/spin he gave the position actually back.

@formulaleonog7 The upgrades seem to be working against Max... And Hadjar is good, his Australia lap was amazing now that it becomes more clear McLaren and Ferrari are superior. But if the car is starting to work, it isn't a conspiracy if the setup problems are fixed and Max closes the gap.

So when someone asks that question during the press conference after the last race and also laughs in your face, to me that has to do with a complete lack of respect. If you don't give me respect, why would I give you respect? You only see the camera pointed at me and not at that person, who just started laughing. And you could clearly see that there was malicious intent behind it at that moment. That is enough for me. @nigelreynolds @autosport So which way is better? Walking away from ALL reporters? Ending the interview? Secluding yourself from all media for 8 weeks long. Lewis has endured a lot of abuse from media especially in his early days and when he wasn't winning. But never did they go on this long.

@nws13 He didn't feel humiliated, he felt disrespected. The question was asked over and over, and up until then he kept answering them. Notice how nobody in the room in Japan or AD actually came forward backing up the reporter, the only source is.. the reporter himself saying so.

@F1_driven Ehh no, Verstappen grabbed 2 poles and a technical error prevented a hattrick... despite the car being more to Perez liking Verstappen would have grabbed a hattrick of poles and wins if not for a technical issue. Baku was literally the only time Perez was better on merrit.
