Jack Strand: Dragons’ All-Time Passing Leader Returns for Year Four Senior QB @JackStrand5 is back at @MSUM_Football with 9,615 pass yds, 84 TDs and every major program record. One more year... One more shot to finish what he started...and take the program even further. ⬇️ - Jack Strand stepped into the starting role during the 2022 season and hasn’t missed a start since. Over the past 29 games, he’s thrown 84 touchdowns, passed for more than 9,600 yards, and broken every major passing record in program history. But it’s not just the numbers. It’s the loyalty. In a time when most quarterbacks would’ve tested the portal, Strand stayed... same staff, same locker room, same belief in what they’re building. He led the @NorthernSunConf in yardage last fall, finished fourth in the country, and stacked five-touchdown games and comeback wins along the way. Now it’s year four. He and his family looked for a program that fit both his goals as a quarterback and his priorities off the field. That meant finding a church he could attend regularly and a campus ministry where he could stay connected. He’s stayed involved throughout college, with Thursday night Bible studies and Sunday worship woven into his weekly routine... and his teammates know how much it matters to him. It’s shaped how he carries himself, how he leads, and what he plays for. Now he’s back for a fourth year with his name already in the record book... but the work isn’t done. The goal has always been bigger than stats.
