More poker players should stay off property in an AirBnb and then chop a room at Horseshoe/Paris with a friend or two and use it as a break lounge. On demand toilet, beds for naps (or cuddles), snack stash. If you finish late and have a too early restart, crash there.

Walt has Albies batting second against a lefty today. He says he's still toying with whether Albies or Baldwin will bat second vs. LH starters. Just a guess, but if a team doesn't have a strong LH presence in the pen, he might be more likely to pair LHHs Baldwin & Olson in the 2/3 spots.

@mlbbowman Clearly there’s a gap in quality and quantity of LHP relief options in a per team basis. So you’re right there. But with the Braves offensive personnel, it’s very simple to insulate the lineup from any matchup disadvantages late in games, if you just lineup construct properly.

Profar failing the drug test meant nothing negative IF that vacated money was quickly converted into resources quickly in a limited market. Cutch seemed to make so much sense but it appears OF corner defense was once again slightly overvalued. I guess there is some merit with passing on him, if you’re going with Elder and Reylo who are not K/9 SPs, bc with contact pitchers, defense matters more. Let’s wait and see how the vacated Profar money is deployed. If it isn’t put to use on an additional SP AND an upgrade DH/OF bat, THEN bring out the pitchforks bc we have a problem.

Braves fans aren’t annoyed the team didn’t sign McCutchen in fact the name is irrelevant. They are annoyed that a barely a year removed from missing the playoffs, by the deadline, and essentially throwing away a season to reset the luxury tax that this team has now lost its-SS, SP2. SP5, DH and 1/2 its catching duo from opening day to anywhere from 2 months to the entire year and so far the response has been- Jonah Heim, Jorge Mateo and Martin Perez Fans have every right to be annoyed.
