As the year comes to a close - its time for my yearly post wrapping up this years progress and accomplishments…
As I sit here after 20hrs travelling back from working the FIFAe World Cup in Riyadh, I realise it’s been a pretty incredible year. So hears the wrap of what I’ve actually been up to (with a few bits left out to not bore the hell out of the TL)
January: Tradeit FE Masters had another iteration and had some fun with the @yogscast on some broadcasts
February: more Yogscast fun, followed by some Premier League Football Vision Guaranteeing
March: The annual @EPICLAN return happened with me taking on TD again. Had a lot of fun adding to the shows. And then a whole load of Yogscast again xD
April: UKIC returned and it was another fun few days in Sheffield - kitting out the studio and putting on a fun finals show.
May: May broughtt on some more fun with the INCAP Legends show happening. With top teams from around the world joining a 1 day event to celebrate INCAP and their work with students. This show was awesome as it gave students the chance to learn broadcast and production with the legend that is @Warchawk and the boys @PeakIsLive and @__Parks. Was an amazing day with these students learning loads from the power duo of observing excellence. Then it was Camp Yog - 14 days of pure Yogscast chaos - from multiple gallery builds - to racking cameras from an outside gallery (yes I built a gallery in a parking lot with no shade - to be improved next year hopefully xD)
June: From Tradeit FE Masters 7 straight into the UKIC LAN Finals at the Redbull gaming sphere - June was a chaotic month but filled with fun shows and more importantly getting to celebrate my best mate planning his wedding with a cocktail night to remember (or not xD)
July: EWC was a fun challenge - working with Mix Effect Media and Jordan Allen this year has been a privilege and am very delighted of this new contact in the industry. This year we did a fair few projects together, but EWC was the cake - 6 weeks of XPression Operation and some design work (no I will not expand on that).
August: EWC continued until the return home for Yogscast Tiny Teams and a fun little project called InZOI where I was in charge of the entire technical side of this production and Technical Directing the final show.
September: I slowed down a little in September but still had some fun - Did another UKIC LAN Finals this time in Sheffield again. Did a Twitch GFX integration for EAFC and did a 24hr stream for Silent Hill.
October: I finally took a holiday - spending a week in Portugal with my parents - was a good break from the chaos that had been this year so far. However, the grind never stops - I did a few more Twitch streams for EAFC, tech assisted a job for VR recording, operated @RossVideoEMEA XPression for Tottenham Hotspur FC and wrapped the month with EPICLAN - this time learning Lighting (never touched it before) and had a little fun with that design and integration.
November: from Epiclan to Tottenham Hotspur again and then off to Abu Dhabi with the wonderful @Sam_Deans , Mix Effect Media and PLG. A week of prep for an incredible final product for the MyWhoosh UCI Cycling Esports event. Then a few day sin Yogscast preparing for JingleJam 2025 then off to Stockholm to technical direct the first ever The Finals Major. Amazingly fun time with the team in the DreamHack office.
December: @jinglejam 2026 kicked off and ended up raising over £3.4 and knowing I played my part in such an incredible charitable cause always fills me with joy - even if I could only do the first 4 days and remote support a bit due to the last job of the year - @FIFAe World Cup Finals in Riyadh, it was still incredible to watch the studio team and the rest of the creators put on such awesome shows with an incredible cause driving them (deffo didnt put it on my Multiview a few times during setup). FIFAe... what an amazing 2 weeks - with amazingly talented people in all areas of the broadcast and crew. Thank you to the team at EFG for being so awesome!
And that wraps up my year in broadcast… I am now taking a small extended break until January 17th to spend time resting up with family at home - and just taking a small step back before starting all over again in the second half of January.
Thank you to all those who have been apart of my 2025 journey - it’s been an awesome year and have met some rly cool people - and cannot wait to do more in 2026! Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

A video of myself "coneing" (the practice of smashing freshly purchased ice cream cones into ones face in a drive-thru) while stationed in Japan made it to my Master Sergeant's desk.
He proceeded to pull my entire shop(10-15 Marines) into a room and show everyone while he screamed and yelled at me and basically said I was a POS and could've assaulted this woman (who handed me the ice cream cone) and caused an international incident.
I was threatened with an NJP and Brig time. Not a single person in that room ranking from Colonel to PFC sat with a straight face for the entire 5 minutes my butt got properly chewed.
Not defending my actions, its just hilarious in retrospect being threatened with jail time for smashing Ice cream I purchased into my face.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve gotten scolded for in a 1:1 at work? “Please stop saying ‘That’s why they pay me the medium bucks’ every time someone says “Thank you” it’s making people uncomfortable” comes to mind for me
