LAN parties at uni were a huge part of my social life for years. SLUGSoc (Uni of Sheffield gaming society) was one of the main reasons I went into esports, esports and gaming was my social life - why not put a mic in front of the conversations I was already having?

i remember having to explain to my mom at 16 why we needed to load the family pc into the car cause I needed to play an unreal tournament lan halfway cross the country
