@PolitlcsUK Everyone knew Mandelson would never in a million years pass any vetting. Starmer knew this which is why he didnโt care about the process, he just wanted him in the role at whatever cost. Mandelson should never have been considered for the role in the first place.

@GMB @susannareid100 Anyone who has read the Supreme Court ruling in the Knox/Sollecito case in Italian, myself included, knows that they were not compensated because they were NOT EXONERATED. The case was dismissed because of bungled forensic evidence but the Judge did agree they were both present!

Well, well, well. I've just received an email from the House of Commons saying the govt won't support a public inquiry into pro-Israel lobbying activity our politics & democracy. Not surprising considering how many cabinet ministers and MPs are bankrolled by pro-Israel lobbyists
