The joke may refer to Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, who is seen as a potential challenger for the Labour leadership against Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The tradition of the door being slammed in front of the monarch's messenger is customary ahead of the State Opening of Parliament.
