As a critically important industry is forced to wait, big money lobbyists keep delaying U.S. regulators from codifying rules to protect investors and innovators. Their motive: DELAY COMPETITION! It is impossible to be LESS AMERICAN than that. Even Jamie Dimon admits, crypto infrastructure is SUPERIOR to legacy finance. Yet, innovators that cant pay $10 million or more per year on ever changing LEGAL advice, are frozen. Investors are forced to get VPNs to access platforms without reasonable regulatory oversight. And Issuers cant leverage new financial models that could enable them to compete. ALL because BANKS want MORE than the $580 BILLION in government protection they received in 2008 as a reward for CAUSING the Great Financial Crisis, AND Because the LARGEST crypto player wants the government to protect THEM from newer competitors. I cant say this loud enough: KHALLAS!

The banking lobby is still stronger than the crypto lobby. Issuers won't be allowed to pay interest on stablecoins. While that allows issuers to keep the interest for themselves, sharing it would have meant a lot more customers. Just another reason to hold tokenized gold instead.
