I have a few thoughts. I suspect he makes some uncomfortable. He and many other white South Africans represent what they refuse to do: evolution, not nostalgia. Self-actualisation, not victimhood. Truth, not self-serving fiction. And that is precisely what makes him a great choice for the political moment South Africa finds itself in as the chosen poster child to fuel the myth & disinformation of White Replacement.
