A huge thank you to alumni, @michaelastracha , for speaking to our pupils as part of our JGP Inspire Lecture Series. Pupils from eco club & the John Muir Award programme enjoyed having a Q&A lunch with Michaela, before she did a talk on her acting & environmentalism career.

Asa update 3/3 Asa slept until 2pm. When she woke, she again tried to ‘eat’ the dish of formula, so I brought her in and hand fed her. What a different reaction! Oh I was dancing inside, seeing this baby so eager for food. I switched from formula to more age-appropriate mouse and she woofed that down too. These video clips are thanks to Jo @pricklelodge , who I’d called over so she could watch as a training exercise.

*River Mole River Watch* launched this month and response is great! We have a team of volunteers testing and monitoring river status across the whole catchment. They adopted a stream each. Thanks to our volunteers and @SE_Rivers_Trust @SurreyClimate @SurreyWT for huge support 👍

High phosphate pollution reading today on River Mole from Gatwick Stream tributary at Riverside Horley. 1.64ppm. Just downstream at confluence of Mole and Gatwick Stream (where Q doubles) Mole was turbid and sluggish while Gat Strm clear and fast flowing. Flow in both is low.

@BBCHughPym Yes. We want answers. My grandfather was lost and we still don’t know where his final resting place is or what happened that day. 😞 His daughter, my mum @netherscapa gave an interview on Friday on BBC Reporting Scotland - she wants answers!
