For the first time in 20 years, we’re not able to get to Barra for Easter as huge disruption @CalMacFerries means it’s not possible to get there. 8/15 of their largest ferries are out of action. This isn’t a problem that just happened; it’s been brewing for many years. (1/2)

@alexmassie @kmacraeplockton Tiree has had no sailings since Thursday 26th March and Calmac's current estimate is that there won't be one until Friday 3rd April at the earliest.

Unimprovable example of alternative facts and nationalist brain rot here. (CalMac themselves say the service is at breaking point just now. You can’t book a ferry to or from Islay, for instance, until April 17th. Great for businesses during the Easter holidays!)
