@joewrote @notsyllytyler Lol, keep writing your own narrative. Your inability to condemn AOC for funding genocide is all I need to know
English

You went from "But his criticisms of AOC come from doing the actual work on the ground and seeing who truly stands with labor and who folds for power" to "I didn't know Chris scuttled his own union effort" in two tweets.
Here's a good place to start learning about who "truly stands with labor."

@joewrote @notsyllytyler Not deflecting, I don’t know anything about the union lawsuit or whatever situation you’re talking about. I saw Chris already responded to you about those allegations.
I am curious to know if you support AOC’s decision to fund the iron dome
English

That was the biggest deflection I’ve ever seen.
Chris Smalls detailed ALU’s chance at a contract. The union sued to remove him. He has been part of 1 labor drive and it wasn’t even completed.
You’re fine to compare them on I/P. But there’s absolutely no question which is better for labor. And you know that, which is why you changed the topic.
English

@joewrote @notsyllytyler Question: do you agree with AOC’s decision to vote yes to funding the Israeli iron dome?
English

@anoosify @notsyllytyler Chris Smalls was sued out of the only union he joined. AOC has near-perfect ratings from every labor organization. As a labor organizer, I can tell you which one is more committed to workers' rights.
English

There is nothing more frightening to @DemSocialists members than when a black labor organizer realizes that politicians like AOC fight AGAINST workers power. Solidarity with Chris Smalls.

There is nothing more frightening to capitalists than when workers realize their power. Solidarity with Chris Smalls. twitter.com/nychange/statu…

@enoughformethx But I think a serious conversation internally needs to happen. Can ya’ll create new strategies that haven’t been tried before? Possibly blocking weapons from passing? Can you do a cost assessment? Hope these things are being discussed. Stay safe brother (2/2)
English

@enoughformethx Gonna be honest Alex: I’ll of course keep advocating for Thiago and Saif’s release, but I don’t think continuing the flotillas in its current format is strategic anymore. I absolutely supported them when the strategy changed: one boat vs hundreds of boats… (1/2)🧵

Chris Smalls was in IDF prison for 5 days after participating in the flotilla and AOC said nothing.

@joewrote @JessicaLBurbank @AOC Fuck AOC how bout that
English

@mushroomdebt @notsyllytyler Absolutely agree. AOC is a Zionist that knowingly funded a genocide.
English

@anoosify @notsyllytyler the disparity is unacceptable, also. aoc sent weapons to continue the genocide which requires a word so much stronger than "not perfect" but for some reason it's chris smalls' record up for debate

Soooo the Palestinian-led NYC orgs actually doing the grassroots work: @WOLPalestine, @PAL_Awda and @decolonize_this have all criticized or condemned @NYCMayor @ZohranKMamdani… but apparently we’re supposed to ignore them and trust random ass people insisting he ‘means well.’ 😂

🇵🇸 NAKBA 78 NYC PROTEST 🗝️
🚨 ALL OUT FOR GAZA & PALESTINE
🗓️ FRIDAY MAY 15TH
⏰4:30PM
📍 WASHINGTON SQ PARK NEW YORK, NY
⏳ RESISTANCE SINCE 1948 ⏳
78 years of Nakba. 78 years of genocide. 78 years of resistance.
On Nakba Day we join Palestinians around the world in uplifting our people’s resistance to genocide, zionism and settler colonialism since 1948. The Nakba, commemorated on May 15th of every year is ongoing to this day, as millions of Palestinians continue to be starved in Gaza, while thousands more are massacred and displaced from Gaza to the West Bank in “israel’s” ongoing genocide funded and carried out with the United States.
“Everything happening in Gaza today is not new. It has been happening since 1948, now on a larger scale for the world to see. Proof was never the problem, because we know this is how colonization operates. This is what they do to indigenous people. Palestine is not an anomaly, it is a litmus test, a moral compass, and what is allowed to happen in Gaza will not stop there.”- Nerdeen Kiswani (WOL’s chair & founder)
It is right here, in our own backyard, that this genocide is funded and made possible, and it is up to us to continue mobilizing against the ongoing Nakba until there is a complete end to the genocide.
Join us as we flood the streets of New York, amplifying the voices of our people and refusing to stay silent, demanding an end to the siege and blockade of Gaza and an end to the ongoing genocide, until Palestine is free within our lifetime 🇵🇸

In case @NYCMayor did not see this.
Ted Hamm@HammerDaily
Statement from NYCLU: "NYPD's no-speech zone last night spread 6 blocks from the event — sprawling across avenues and limiting press access. This is unprecedented and extreme: that type of zone hasn't been used for the U.N., visits from the President, or the 2004 RNC."

@_iamblakeley This is why we need to abandon the Democratic Party completely (including DSA). They were never allies to begin with, only grifters who use our cause to advance their careers.

What do you mean “I firmly disagree with?” IT’S ILLEGAL SHUT IT DOWN!
