I really like the idea of Rondo getting the HC gig with the Pels. He “player coached” us into sweeping the Blazers in the playoffs that one year he was here…cuz we all know Gentry ain’t have shit to do with it lmao and this type of attitude might get the best out of Zion!!

DeAndre Jordan on why he chose to play for the Pelicans instead of for a contender in the NBA Playoffs:
"Honestly, I wanted the opportunity to play with guys like Herb Jones. I told him five years ago he was one of my favorites to watch. Between him, Zion, a great rookie like Jeremiah Fears, and Micah Peavy, there is a lot of talent here. Plus, I’ve competed against Kevon Looney for a long time. Every time I played against New Orleans, it was a tough game and the crowd was super loyal. They’ve had some bad luck with injuries, but they wanted me here, so I’m here."

I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. Let me be clear, we didn’t lose because of officiating, but that doesn’t make last night any less important. If the referees are going to demand respect from the players - as they should - then the players should demand respect from the referees. When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. Nobody who loves this game enjoyed watching that last night. They want to see the players compete at the highest level. The league needs be far more aggressive about this kind of thing. All players and all fans deserve it.
