🚨 Understand there are no written release clauses into Cuti Romero’s contract. There was a gentlemen pact with Spurs to let him go to Spanish clubs in case of good proposals, but never fixed at €60m and not in paper. …and it was with Daniel Levy, who’s no longer at the club. Romero remains likely to leave Spurs in summer, as reported in February. 🎥 More: youtu.be/EYy8d5Jg8kQ

IF #THFC stay up, do you think we should try and keep Romero or still look to sell him? 🤔
Hotspur Lane@HotspurLane

🚨 Atletico Madrid are NOT certain to pursue Cristian Romero again this summer. ❌🇦🇷 Atleti tried to sign Romero in the summer, but were unsuccessful. He was then appointed as captain and signed a new deal at #THFC. Despite Diego Simeone saying that he was a “big fan” of Romero, sources in Spain say that not everyone involved in making decisions at Atletico is sold on the Argentine defender. 😳 @SkySportsLyall

Among Democrats, 95% disapprove, marking the fourth time this term Democratic disapproval of Trump reaches a record high. Among independents, 25% approve and 75% disapprove.

Done irreparable damage to the squad. Spent 100s of millions on absolute shite. Made it totally ok to not bother with the league. Created a huge us v them divide.

🚨🎙️ Ange Postecoglou when asked how he feels about #thfc’s ongoing struggles: “Not great, I still have a really strong attachment to the club. ‌ “It was two years and they were by no means easy years, but we invested a lot into them. Second last game we won a European trophy which was an incredible high. “The connection there will be there forever. To watch them struggle has not been easy and it’s not the way I thought it would go. They’re in a hell of a fight, relegation is massive for any club but for Tottenham, it’s a pretty big deal. ‌ “They have some fighting to do and they have the quality to get out. They need a circuit-breaker for sure.” @RyanTaylorSport

If you asked me to name ONE PERSON who I can safely guarantee will keep #thfc up… Ange Postecoglou. 🇦🇺 Our league form under him was vile last season. BUT - he’ll galvanise this squad, he’ll motivate them. They’ll run through brick walls for him.

@SpursArmyTweets People continue to be dumb - Ange made a choice, and saw that with quality and injuries we simply could not win on both fronts, so he made a choice. Hence the poor league form. I’d trade 17th for a trophy any day of the week.

As said on @DrTottenham pod with guest @TheRealJonbass this week, Ange would likely have treated the 17th finish last season as a blip that a club like spurs couldn’t go back to. Frank however used it as his benchmark. Despite valid concerns on Angeball, attitudes matter. #COYS

@Adam20385192 @npepper101 @Ayhd126H Only because the three other teams were shit. Look at the points tally we finished in. Any other seasons it’s a relegation battle. And we didn’t finish 17th because he prioritised Europe you clown. We were shit the whole season

Every time I hear from this bloke there seems to be a complete lack of acknowledgement that he started this league form decline. We'd had 16 seasons before that where our lowest league position was 8th.

Today my classmate wrote to me. She stayed to live in occupied Mariupol. I don’t condemn these people, I know how hard it is to leave your home, where you grew up and were born, and start life from scratch. It’s really difficult. She always complains to me about the occupation authorities, about the complete arbitrariness that is happening in the city, although I always ask her not to speak out so that it doesn’t threaten her safety. And to this day she doesn’t understand why they came here, just like I do. We remembered how we used to live well and how we didn’t appreciate it. Before, my only problem was the renovation of the apartment, I was always missing something, whether it was new serving dishes, which I had a lot of, there was no place to put them, or a new TV that had just gone on sale. Life was really carefree and easy then, there were plans for months ahead. And now I can't plan anything for a week of life, because it's unclear whether we'll wake up tomorrow at all and it's unknown what might happen. I still can't comprehend the full scale of the tragedy that happened. It still seems to me that I fell asleep on February 23, 2022 and am still sleeping. Although my housing survived, in Mariupol I had a two-room apartment, there were only brokens windows and little things like broken chandeliers from the shock wave, or broken tiles on the kitchen walls - but the house survived. Having taken the lives of thousands of my fellow countrymen, destroying our city - that wasn't enough for them. Now they have reached housing in which no one lives and my apartment is to become the property of the so-called "dnr", if I don't come and show the documents for the apartment, which of course I'm never going to do... it will simply be taken away and sold to some russian….or even worse, they will hand him over to some murderer for "liberating Mariupol." I'm at a loss for words. What an absurdity. Who do we live with on this planet.

@championsynthia IME I’d avoid it. I had 3 attempts with it over a decade, it made me feel depressed and down and the dry lips were horrible. And yes it cleared my skin but every time I stopped, a few months later the acne returned as bad as ever. Now I use retinoid and antibiotic gel which works

@Throwitawalvog @championsynthia That’s not true unfortunately, acne does and can return once you stop roaccutane. It might take a few months but it does return. It’s very rarely a cure.

Sooo I have been told I have skin cancer. Extremely low level, I think I’m gonna be ok, but it’s still scary not even being 30 and being told I have a form of cancer. I don’t use sunbeds and always use factor 50 but apparently it’s not enough. Always check if you’re not sure 💗💗

@oneadds @LPXIOP @ChloeRT9 Since when did I say people shouldn’t go out in the sun and enjoy the benefits? We are talking about sun damage / tanning. There is no benefit to it at all. It’s purely aesthetics

@oneadds @LPXIOP @ChloeRT9 Sunbeds have always been dangerous. You can get vitamin D from the sun without tanning mate. The last point I agree, but hopefully this will help inform her also about lifestyle. I encourage her to speak to her dermatologist who can advise her fully

@basedbytes @LPXIOP @ChloeRT9 The sun isn’t bad. Lack of sun is a cause of disease. Anything in excess is bad. Water in excess can kill you. When did sunbeds in colder climates become more dangerous? Anyway this is about this ladies thread and you aren’t the lady

@oneadds @LPXIOP @ChloeRT9 Why would the body produce melanin to protect itself from more skin damage if tanning wasn’t a form of skin damage? You get darker precisely because your body is trying to protect itself

@basedbytes @LPXIOP @ChloeRT9 Natural sunlight can be technically worse than a sunbed. It all depends on time spent in each. Instead you have gone off on one and missed the point. It’s not as black and white as all suntan is damage. The human body needs the sun

@oneadds @LPXIOP @ChloeRT9 And yes the body needs sun, but in controlled amounts and not at peak hours. And use suncream. Don’t burn. And a suntan is technically skin damage. It’s a sign that UV radiation has damaged the DNA resulting in increased melanin, to protect itself from more skin damage.
