@orenmeetsworld @brooksethomas we really appreciate you using Omnisend @orenmeetsworld.
"There are so many incredibly generous, kind, and supportive people in the space who are trying their best to make products that tell a story." - a wise man :)

@brooksethomas both, all but one who didnt care about price change and didnt want to learn something new

@adriantheboz I tried Omnisend, liked it but the POP UP box to get a discount code doesn’t let you enter a generic universal discount code which is what I was doing before
So had to revert back to Klaviyo

@MattiSchroder @yojimmykim @iamshackelford That stat has been between 30-40% for 3+ years now, while automations remain +-2% of sends.
You are spot on about timing to the right person based on their timeline.
It's like in retail - there's a reason someone greets customers when they walk in and walks around answering q's
English

@yojimmykim @iamshackelford Thanks for clarifying, Jimmy! I can't help but think maybe it's the other way around. That we shouldn't focus as much on flows. If the average user can get to 34% of revenue from 2% it sounds like it's more about the right timings than message. What's your thought on that?
English

I was listening to the Send It Podcast, and Jimmy and Chase were breaking down Omnisend’s Year in Email 2024 report. One stat, in particular, stuck with me:
Automations are responsible for 34% of orders, but only 2% of emails sent.Let that sink in for a second.
There’s a ton of potential is sitting untapped in most brands’ email strategies.
Everyone’s chasing flashy campaigns, but the real revenue drivers—automated flows like abandoned cart, back in stock, and welcome sequences—are quietly doing the heavy lifting. When automated emails convert at 1.72% (compared to just 0.07% for campaigns) and 1 in 3 clicks leads to a purchase, why wouldn’t you double down on them? This isn’t just about email either.
The same trend shows up in SMS and push notifications—automations consistently outperform campaigns across the board.Gone are the days of the old “set it and forget it.”
Takeaway:
If you’re not investing time in automations, you’re leaving money on the table.
What’s one automation you think most brands underutilize?

@ecomchasedimond @omnisend As of today the new beta reporting is live on every customer dashboard as a separate tab. To avoid confusion or panic the old reporting is still there too for another 30 days
🤜🤛

I had WAY MORE people reach out 1-1 about this than I expected.
Across the convos I had in the DMs, I compiled an @omnisend pros and cons list.
Here it is:
PROS
- AMAZING pricing while not skimping on any necessary and core features (except 1, check the cons list)
- Best-in-class email builder (one of the best I've ever used)
- Incredible customer support (I've been blown away by the lengths their team has gone to for me)
- Tons of 3rd party integrations (I was shocked by how many they have)
- They genuinely care about the success of their customers (this is huge for me)
CONS
- Their reporting isn't quite as robust as other platforms (however, they're in beta with their updated reporting platform and it's really solid -- I still need to find out when this will be public for all customers)
I really believe Omnisend is giving Klaviyo a run for their money.
Omnisend has 125,000+ customers and is growing like crazy.
And I couldn't be more excited to be partnered with them.

@thechrishrdz Try Omnisend. We have teammates in Dallas who would be happy to connect and show you :)
English

@ChadHamzeh Hey Chad, I can help show you around Omnisend if you are open. Both platforms are good, if ours (Omnisend) can help - we’d love the opportunity to
English

@bauermarty @ecomchasedimond For sure!
I’m actually using Omnisend with a couple of clients and I’m curious about the next updates.
Are you asking because you know something I don’t? 👀
English

@Freecard0 @ecomchasedimond What specific features are you talking about?
Are you open to see an update coming out in December to refresh them?
English

@ecomchasedimond Have you seen how poor Omnisend reporting features are? 👀

@tombrown @landforce sent you an note to the welcome email I got from Cut30 :)

@KarlMindfulness @jordantwestecom @Mailchimp @Shopify I’m at Omnisend and happy to help you. We have a Mailchimp migration tool that migrates your data and history (10k+ brands have used this) and will manage your migration of flows, forms, audiences at no cost. Would be happy to show you and help answer questions :)
English

Hi Jordan. This is a timely post. I am with Mailchimp. My audience size is circa 17K. I pay $500AUD per month (due to number of emails sent rather than contact number).
I have set up a Convertkit account and love the platform. It would also be about half the cost of Mailchimp if I migrate my entire audience there.
I am also open to alternatives, so great to see this post, and I will look at omnisend.
I wondered if you had any general thoughts or advice on making the move from Mailchimp, regardless of who I move to?
My main concerns are
1. That changing provider may impact the deliverability of the emails (more go to spam)
2. The time and effort involved in making the change (although Convertkit have a concierge service to make it easier).
English

I still remember the moment I switched email service providers for the first time. 👇
I was with @Mailchimp (anyone else??) and at the time they had a falling out with @Shopify so there was no longer a direct integration at the time…
I spent an entire vacation in Hawaii moving over all of my flows and contacts and somehow had to learn this new UI on a tool called Klaviyo that underground everyone was talking about! (do you guys remember this time?)
Enter the next stage of email marketing for e-commerce
What it lacked in style, it made up for in data.
It also surprised me how I couldn’t really get ahold of anyone to help me out.
But that was ok… because it was the best tool that we had up until that point and it was worth the lack of CS…
I figured that soon enough they would make a better UI and get a bunch of customer support reps to help…
But that never really happened.
And others in the space noticed…
Enter this week’s sponsor of @secrets2scaling Your E-commerce Brand @omnisend

In full transparency I want you to know that I have not yet personally used @omnisend and only seen a demo but wanted you to all know that they look like a great other option in the space!

@JaschaElle Happy to help. DM or marty@omnisend.com and I can see what's up for you.

@codyplof Throwing in Omnisend here as a serious contender + competitor to Klaviyo in 2024

@breakout_anton Can confirm you were early and that you are still known Anton :)

When OmniSend first launched, I just happened to get a client who was the platform. I added the platform to my #Upwork profile... and started getting tons of invitations.
Turns out, at that time, there were only 10 or so freelancers on all of Upwork who had the word "OmniSend" in their profile. So it was easy to win jobs.
Today there are probably thousands of Upworkers helping with OmniSend, but before that happened I got some great work in my early freelance days.
If you have a rare skill that's not in a lot of demand... sometimes it's better to lean into it.
Yes, there might not be a lot of clients looking for that service, but the few that are will have no choice but to contact you.
And never forget to add new skills - and especially platform names - to your profile. Those keywords can bring you work you otherwise wouldn't have gotten.

@RichiSengfelder Ich empfehle, sich ehrliche Shopify-Bewertungen anzusehen: apps.shopify.com/omnisend
:)

@RichiSengfelder The link that Klaviyo's company account posted is filled with false claims about Omnisend does/does not do. They just lie. Don't trust your email marketing reputation to a company that lies that blatantly.
English

Klaviyo doing you dirty on pricing?
Alternatives I'm personally vouching for in my DMs and recommending to clients:
• Sendlane (For stores doing 500k+ sends p/m, feature packed, insane support, building fast)
• Yotpo (I know, hear me out – the reputation is turning, plus they only charge for usage & not list size, the product is also damn good)
• Omnisend (charges for list size but they're easily half the price of Klaviyo, simple to use, very visual, tons of integrations)
------------------------------------
Also hearing great things from merchants (although I've not personally used) about:
• Bento
• Privy
• Drip (I used it 5+ years ago, not sure that counts)
------------------------------------
Zero affiliation with any of them right now, although I can probably make intro's if anybody wants/needs them.
My DMs are wide open.
Equally if anyone has any further recommendations or can vouch for platforms, would love your honest feedback.
