I can remember as a child during the hours from Noon to 3 PM on Good Friday, there would be an aura of silence, reverence, and penance. Even if we are not able to get to the sacred liturgy at that time, we still try to keep some awe during the “Tre Ore,” those three hours. @thegnewsroom

Please study the history and the theology of the Early Church. For 2000 years, the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches have taught this.

@Chad4328 @percy_gryce The Early Church fathers all taught that the Eucharist was the real presence of Jesus—not just a symbol. The Early Church Fathers, including Ignatius of Antioch, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Cyril of Jerusalem, and Augustine taught it is the real body and blood of Jesus Christ.
