@akidderz @PaulTassi After save scumming and killing him about 4 or 5 times trying to find a way to just tackle him instead, I ended up outsmarting his AI - I rode away until he lost interest then did a wide sweep back behind him and snuck up behind him to tackle.

I killed him before I had the bounty. His body despawned before I could go get it. After several game days (and a patch!) - I saw a new red bounty marker on this location. Found him. Killed all his buddies. Still couldn’t just “tackle” him as I couldn’t put my weapon away. Found Blix to be the most frustrating of all the bounties.

If you are having trouble finding a bounty to catch it's because the game sometimes does ridiculous shit like this. There's the bounty marker, there's the actual location he is. Often it means "the area" which can be a huge range. This was like 500 meters away. He also only spawns at certain times. *This* is why we use guides

@DoesItPlay1 @CrimsonDesert_ Much like almost every other game released in the last two decades, CD has issues. But they aren't Cyberpunk levels of broken, and the game is fun. Not sure where your salt is coming from but feel free to release a game, no matter the size, w/o bugs. We'll wait.

@CrimsonDesert_ Well, that happens when you rush a game out the door. Should have waited with the physical release as well, instead of forcing downloads through hard-coded prompts. You knew it wasn't ready.

During development, some 2D visual props were created as part of early-stage iteration using experimental AI generative tools. These assets helped us rapidly explore tone and atmosphere in the earlier phases of production. However, our intention has always been for any such assets to be replaced, following final work and review by our art and development teams, with work that aligned with our quality standards and creative direction. Following reports from our community, we have identified that some of these assets were unintentionally included in the final release. This is not in line with our internal standards, and we take full responsibility for it. We also acknowledge that we should have clearly disclosed our use of AI. While these tools were primarily used during early production, with the expectation that these assets would be replaced prior to release, we recognize that this does not excuse the lack of transparency. We sincerely apologize for these oversights. We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of all in-game assets and are taking steps to replace any affected content. Updated assets will be rolled out in upcoming patches. In parallel, we are reviewing and strengthening our internal processes to ensure greater transparency and consistency in how we communicate with players moving forward.

@JosiahRises I got used to them almost immediately which I did not expect after hearing all the complaints.

Am I the only one who doesn't have any problems with the controls in Crimson Desert? They're very similar to RDR2 so I kind of got used to them quickly.

Catering to an almost non-existent group of people (Series S players) is taking precious work hours away from something that would net them more money (fixing PC/PS5/S-X problems). Why in the world are you still gaming on a S???

@Khatspergers This is honestly some of the best promo material for this game. Makes people on the fence bite the bullet and buy it because there's no way they're as stupid as DSP and they'll get past that boss easily.

After wasting 20 minutes slamming his head into a boss with nothing but starter gear, Phil concludes that Crimson Desert is not a good game and rage quits.

@Borderlands Has anyone that had crashing issues on Nvidia cards been able to play without crashing in the last month? Last I tried the game was unplayable on the 5070 with the "game ready" drivers. That was a couple months ago. I wanna play!

@codyclarke There is never a reason to buy a console at launch. You have to wait at least 2 years minimum after launch to see if it's worth it.
