Regardless of whether it gets approved or not, but the 26% unrealized gains proposal is the most insane and stupid proposal I've seen from the Dutch government ever.
It's literally forcing you to sell #Bitcoin while simply holding it if it goes up against the EUR.
No wonder a ton of people are flying the country.

The smartest and wealthiest people (on the inside, and outside) i have met or know or count as real friends:
- hold radical different opinions than the herd
- do not watch normal news
- rigorously protect their families safety and privacy
- do not want to be famous
- have few close friends, but the one´s they have they really cherish and can really trust
- do not care what others think
- have vast networks of people they can access quickly if needed through connections, people that owe them a favor etc
- are not ego-focused, selfish, vain, image-oriented, etc
- utterly ignore public opinion
- do not display their financial wealth in excessive ways
- like creating instead of copying
- are interested in radically new ideas or thoughts
- like to be on their own to cultivate their thoughts and creative ideas
- take care of themselves physically and mentally but also know how to have a good time
- have a serious work attitude and know how to focus, they cherish their scarce time

De eerst volgende besluit over Box 3 is weer bijna hier. Eind mei wordt er weer gestemd in de tweede kamer & het is wat mij betreft belangrijk om onze stem weer te laten horen & duidelijk maken dat we dit niet pikken.
We zijn niet zo ver gekomen om over ongerealiseerde winsten belasting te betalen en als een braaf slaafje tot ons graf door te werken, aan de staat en zijn grillen overgelaten te worden en niks in eigen hand te hebben.
Hebben jullie nog een beetje zin om weer aan de slag te gaan? 🙌

christian hermit friend:
- 50 years of sitting in silence & prayer every morning for 6 hours
- takes care of a little abandoned church, which he restored on his own, he lives next to it
- sitting next to him is incredible: the man literally channels the holy spirit all the time, pure bliss
- kindest person i ever met
- cares zero about money, power, fame, greed, attention
- washes himself in the little river next to the church
- lives a super humble life and makes wood furniture by hand in the afternoon
i only send people to him that have serious inner development and consider the reclusive life, so they get an idea of what that really looks like, they stay with him a couple of days and always come away in total awe
this man has my deepest respect and whom i admire enormously, we get along so well just sitting in silence or discussing various christian scriptures
This is what true power and inner development looks like, this is what pure happiness looks like, this is a man who lives in total surrender to god/absolute/brahman/infinity (whatever you want to call it) and truly embodies it in his real life. This is someone i admire

@bitcoinboters Dat gaat wel een paar jaar duren natuurlijk, maar je moet gewoon laag kopen (nu dus) en lang durven vasthouden. Mocht er bijv. een concurrent komen (dat is niet onmogelijk, maar wordt steeds moeilijker), dan kun je natuurlijk gewoon verkopen.

Saturday morning thought: The more I use AI, the more I think investors are completely missing what World ($WLD, the former Worldcoin) is doing and why it will be needed by everyone in the near future. According to Pantera they may scale to at least $50 billion in free cash flow in the future. Fully diluted there will be max 10 billion tokens. WLD trades at $0.26 right now, down from almost $10 in 2024. Successful mature tech companies trade at over 25X FCF, meaning an implied future valuation of at least $125 (fully diluted!). That's a potential 500X from today's price in a few years, a bit like Bitcoin in the early days.
I own a few WLD tokens (an insignificant amount), but I am not trying to shill it because I own some. I truly believe people are missing what's going on here. World has partnerships with among others Zoom and Tinder, but also with the governments of Taiwan and Malaysia. People seem to be worried about the irisscan (and maybe that's what's still holding it back?), but if you do a deeper dive you'll see it's a complete non-issue. The constant dilution certainly plays a role as well, but my price calculations are based on the issuance of all future tokens (they will be unlocked by 2032), so even with that you'll have this upside.

That reality prompted a question: why am I not more concerned about regulation?
The short answer is simple: I trust Tesla to navigate it.
Parsing dense, locality-specific regulatory language isn’t my domain (I’m an engineer, not a lawyer), but it very much is theirs.
There’s a persistent claim from critics that Tesla is “winging it” or simply hoping things fall into place. That’s not serious.
Tesla understands the regulatory landscape deeply and has demonstrated an ability to work through it methodically. What you’re seeing in places like the Bay Area (why so many cars are in operation here) is vehicles accumulating the miles required to move through defined regulatory gates and ultimately achieve certification.
This isn’t accidental. It’s deliberate and planned.
Tesla is operating with clear intent: scale Robotaxi as far and as fast as possible. That’s the objective.
And at a practical level, the precedent is already set. Where Waymo operates, the path is proven. If Waymo is allowed to run in a given city, Tesla Robotaxi will be as well.
Ask Grok to parse your worry tree, for me, I'll let Tesla manage it. They know what they are doing.

Ree door de stad en hij haperde erg op de remmen voor een fiets stoplicht. Die op rood stond
En in de avond afslag van snelweg. En begon het stuur te schudden. Hij wist niet welke rij strook.

My experience with FSD (Supervised) so far:
- 94% of my drives are handled by the car
- Nearly all miles driven autonomously over the past 8 days
- Performs especially well on familiar routes
- Smoother driving, less stress
- Confident even in busy traffic
- I stay attentive and ready to take over at all times
- I’m part of early access
What stands out:
- Smooth handling in turns and merges
- Clean and precise parking and stopping
My conclusion:
FSD is progressing fast and already feels strong in daily use.
