I’ll be honest, I figured the QB competition label would be over by now. If Kyler is already the chosen starter, it’s a good idea to give him as many reps as possible. The fact the team is continuing to split reps to this point seems to be a very good indicator of JJ McCarthy’s progress this offseason.

I spent the last few months saying I’m worried about Kyler’s fit in this offense and now that Kyler is expressing frustration in picking up the offense I see a lot of people say it’s time to just name him QB1.

If the Vikings were to trade McCarthy, that leaves them with Murray, Wentz, and Brosmer. That's a big gamble unless they are content with possible throwing this season away and letting Teasley do his thing next off-season.
