@WG_RumblePants Sorry to disagree RumblePants but better the devil you know and any punishment of Stokes will push him to tell the MCC to shove their precious job..and if he does we will be left with that imature clown to take the captaincy and as a Yorkshireman i am telling you he is not ready.

Would I sack Stokes? No, not based on current information. I’d ban him for one match and fine him as much as contractually permissible, but I’d allow him to continue as captain, at least until the end of the summer — perhaps then subject to a review of performance and subsequent behaviour. There’s no pretending this incident hasn’t created some awful headlines and social media reaction for England, but (as far as we know) all he’s done is break the curfew — admittedly one he agreed to as captain. It’s very regrettable and definitely punishable, but is it really a sackable offence? I feel conflicted about this whole thing though, because a big reason that I don’t want Stokes to go is that I don’t want Brook as captain. That feels like going from one mistake to another.

Looks like Jeremy Clarkson @FamersDog has totally forgotton his northern routes...just paid £3.60 for half an IPA...thats a whopping £7.20 a pint!!!...i pay £4.80 for a pint of Run Hop at my local Brewery Tap in Northumberland. Sorry JC, but what a total tourist trap rip off!!
