So now we have a timetable for the phasing out of the ScotRail HSTs to be replaced by refurbished Class 222s (which look very smart in the photo). Sad to say farewell to the HSTs but it’s time. Shame though there’s no way the “new” train’s seats will be as good as the old.

You end up with a gibbering non-entity in Downing Street when: The power is removed from the Prime Minister and Parliament and placed in the hands of unelected bureaucrats and judges. The media pretend that the Prime Minister is all powerful and report on politics like it's a King's court. Anyone trying to take on this narrative is marginalised, suppressed or destroyed. Keir Starmer is the consequence not the cause of years of hollowing out of the British system. And the British media is a big part of the problem.

Fascinating. NCP carparks has gone into administration. And one of the reasons is WFH and people just aren't driving as much. According to @transportgovuk we're still only at 92% - 95% of pre-Covid car driving levels.
