@myJPSonline after 2000 years the pole is being replaced and Iโm thankful. Idk if this means Iโm getting back light tonight or not but itโs a step closer.
@DIGICELJamaica quick question, no service since hurricane Melissa, you said I have to pay the bill even though I didnโt have service (Iโm postpaid) I paid the bill and I still donโt have service. Calls suck and data doesnโt work.
Last I checked promising a service and/or product for a cost is what was agreed on. Not providing that service is a breech of contract and still expecting payment.
@FLOWJamaica Iโm WhatsApping your customer service rep. I can say you guys are heartless. I paid my bill before Melissa. Melissa came and flooded and destroyed my community and Parish. Then youโre still gonna send me a bill to say I must pay. I still donโt even have electricity.
I commend John Torpey, Toby King, and the entire World Central Kitchen team for their extraordinary support after Hurricane Melissa.
Providing one million meals during a period of national hardship is an exceptional act of service.
World Central Kitchen has ensured reliable access to food and water and has strengthened our local economy by employing members of our tourism sector in their relief efforts.
I am truly grateful for their compassion, efficiency, and commitment as Jamaica works toward recovery.
Their partnership continues to make a meaningful difference across Jamaica.
@FLOWJamaica good afternoon, I got a bill due for December 5 but I was impacted by hurricane Melissa. We donโt even have electricity in my community.
@myJPSonline please Iโm begging can we in Westgreen have some electricity? Mosquitos are feasting upon us and after it all we canโt go out like that.

Our crews are working 24/7. The damage is extensive, much of it hidden high in the hillsโfallen trees & broken poles.
These areas are hard to reach with our larger trucks, so we're using smaller, agile equipment. We know it's frustrating. Thank you for your patience!
The Transport Authority is warning public passenger vehicle (PPV) operators to immediately stop the illegal practice of raising fares following the passing of Hurricane Melissa.
According to the authority, several PPV operators have increased their fares since the Category Five storm hit Jamaica last Tuesday.
