The fact you, nor your ministers seem to understand how the windfall tax works, nor the fact that it only applies to extra extractions from the North Sea, is utterly appalling. The fact that your business secretary is not slapping down the economically illiterate environment secretary, for his attack on a large British, is also an act of humiliation. Despite the socialist mantra, profit is not an evil or dirty word.
