#DRDO has successfully conducted salvo launch of two #Pralay missiles in quick succession from the same launcher off the coast of #Odisha at about 1030 hrs on December 31, 2025. 🔹 The flight-test was conducted as part of user evaluation trials. Both the missiles followed the intended trajectory meeting all flight objectives as confirmed by tracking sensors deployed by the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur. 🔹Pralay is an indigenously developed solid propellant quasi-ballistic missile employing state-of-the-art guidance and navigation to ensure high precision. Another boost to #AatmanirbharDefence Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh inaugurated the third Production Line of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas Mk1A and the second Production Line of Hindustan Turbo Trainer-40 (#HTT-40) at the Nashik facility of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (#HAL) on October 17, 2025. He also flagged-off the first LCA Mk1A produced at the facility. 🔹With this development, HAL will achieve a total production capacity of 24 LCA Mk1A aircraft per year. BEML Ltd held its 61st Annual General Meeting in Bengaluru, an occasion that brought together our esteemed shareholders, CMD Shri Shantanu Roy, Functional Directors and Independent Directors. In his detailed address, Shri Roy highlighted the company’s remarkable journey over the past year. BEML reported a Profit Before Tax of ₹405 crores—the highest in its history—reflecting the strength of its operations and soundness of its strategy. The company’s market capitalization has grown exponentially, rising from around ₹8300 crores in July 2023 to more than ₹17,500 crores today. BEML Ltd organized a special health awareness program for school children with a focus on creating awareness about cancers, the importance of better nutrition, common ENT problems, and women’s mental health. As part of the initiative, around 250 children underwent anemia screening, which revealed that nearly 19% to 22% were found to have low hemoglobin levels. To address these findings, plans are being put in place for further medical evaluation, distribution of iron supplements and deworming tablets, and counselling sessions for both parents and children. These sessions will focus on nutrition, menstrual hygiene, and overall health awareness. This initiative underscores BEML’s commitment to building healthier communities by promoting early detection, preventive care, and holistic wellbeing among the younger generation. @MoHFW_INDIA @DefProdnIndia
