The madness in Australia only ends when the people stop using the governments money. F.A. Hayek told us how we win. Bitcoin is unstoppable There is no stronger, more powerful protest than ditching the Australian Dollar #Australia #auspol #AustraliaHasFallen #australiaprotest

i think a lot of people conflate voluntarism with a total absence of authority or large organizations just as government-run services are conflated with authority and order in general of course regulations on industries in important for markets. of course companies/orgs need to have control over their products/services voluntarism is a free market of those things. its does not necessitate less of them, but more government itself is the ultimate monopoly. if regulations are important (which we agree on), why should there be one monopoly on them? it doesnt make sense to me to monopolize an industry for the sake of stoping monopolies thx for the response, i always enjoy these conversations

When people say taxes are a scam How do they envision governments taking in funds to finance themselves? Genuine question. Before you answer, don't tell me we're gonna maintain all our public infrastructure, services, and defense with a voluntary slush fund. How do they do it?

@leonardaisfunE Would you believe you are indeed the retard? Probably not. But here you are arguing we can't automate because we'll be poor. Automation is prosperity.

This is retard-economics. The companies can only grow with a growing CONSUMER base. When you replace the workforce with robots, you impoverish people. Poor people don’t buy what you’re selling (unless it’s food.) They’re lying to our faces.
Chief Nerd@TheChiefNerd

JASON: “Elon seems to think we're gonna have one robot for every human.” JENSEN HUANG: “I'm hoping more … We're millions of people short in labor today. We're actually really desperately in need of robotics. All of these companies could grow more if they had more labor.”

Investing heavily in AI at your company will backfire. You are becoming dependent on something that is unsustainable. The VC money will dry up once they realize nobody is going to make any money in the long run except NVDA and the power companies. The subsidies will stop. And your costs will 5x. There is no moat in AI. Switching from GPT to gemini to grok to claude takes seconds and you don't miss a beat. Its a house of cards.

@AvidCommentator Yeah but what if the bond market is driving the hike pricing? Even if rationing obliterates demand in the economy Aussie bonds might get hammered on risk of a fiscal blowout instead.

While the expectation is Australian interest rates going significantly higher. If we hit fuel rationing of any significant nature I doubt that will come to pass. Demand in the economy will collapse swiftly enough by itself.

According to Pauline Hanson, asking for policy costings is a “stupid question” - because One Nation has never been serious enough about policy to survive real scrutiny. One Nation doesn’t build policy - it sells slogans.

$BTC Those who shorted $69k not Listening to Me Got REkT Almost Instantly. I tried my best to warn you in clear words. After few minutes of posting that warning, Funding went a little more negative with shorts getting trapped at that breakdown below $69k. Few minutes later, all of a Sudden spot volume comes in and traps these shorts turning the funding positive, and open interest nuked within few minutes. Whenever I tell you something, I also explain my reason and rationale behind it. If you don't listen, it's your call. If you haven't followed me or turned on notifications, you might wanna do it for the next warning :) #btc #btcusdt #bitcoin

@cryptophry @TylerDurden but isn't it "dangerous" to let it have access to all your files? i'm not sure if thinking like this makes any sense, no idea if it's possible to leak stuff from your computer to a server or somewhere else

Someone in the Bitcoin Today space just claimed that owning BTC is the most revolutionary act you could ever do in human history ... without a hint of sarcasm or humor. They were 100% serious.

How impressive is Jim Chalmers? A war causing a global oil shock, a interest rate rise by the RBA, and every day he has been fronting up to the media to settle the waters, allay the fears and provide a steady hand on the tiller.

Pauline Hanson is in no position to complain about the interest rate rise. She joined the government in supporting this war and continues to cheer on Trump while he destroys the lives of Australians. She is nothing more than an opportunist.

@micah_erfan Try harder pal, that report is from 2021. Why didn’t you show your followers the most recent reports from 2023 and 2023? Oh because there are NO kids and that would show that I was right…. which would break your narrative Keep defending fraud and I’ll keep exposing it 🤝

Marcus Aurelius's Meditations? Augustine's Confessions? These people are idiots. Don't listen to illiterate people. Don't give them your time or your money. Read a book instead.

Great men of history had little to no introspection. The personality that builds empires is not the same personality that sits around quietly questioning itself. @pmarca and I discuss what we both noticed but no one talks about: David: You don't have any levels of introspection? Marc: Yes, zero. As little as possible. David: Why? Marc: Move forward. Go! I found people who dwell in the past get stuck in the past. It's a real problem and it's a problem at work and it's a problem at home. David: So I've read 400 biographies of history’s greatest entrepreneurs and someone asked me what the most surprising thing I’ve learned from this was [and I answered] they have little or zero introspection. Sam Walton didn't wake up thinking about his internal self. He just woke up and was like: I like building Walmart. I'm going to keep building Walmart. I'm going to make more Walmarts. And he just kept doing it over and over again. Marc: If you go back 400 years ago it never would've occurred to anybody to be introspective. All of the modern conceptions around introspection and therapy, and all the things that kind of result from that are, a kind of a manufacture of the 1910s, 1920s. Great men of history didn't sit around doing this stuff. The individual runs and does all these things and builds things and builds empires and builds companies and builds technology. And then this kind of this kind of guilt based whammy kind of showed up from Europe. A lot of it from Vienna in 1910, 1920s, Freud and all that entire movement. And kind of turned all that inward and basically said, okay, now we need to basically second guess the individual. We need to criticize the individual. The individual needs to self criticize. The individual needs to feel guilt, needs to look backwards, needs to dwell in the past. It never resonated with me.

Still don’t quite understand how higher interest rates is meant to solve high inflation which is caused by government over spending and big corporations with ever increasing prices How does us having to pay more solve any of those things? We are on the brink of two parents working full time with good jobs living below the poverty line
