@sizzlejizzle3 @Johnny2Cellos games do have an issue with being treated as disposable mediums by their publishers but remakes can definitely exist alongside their original source material as a distinctive interpretation of the work like any other art medium

@dandy_mint @Johnny2Cellos That’s the argument of the video. He is arguing the original is art. Art can’t really just be remade and when it is, it’s a different thing or a new thing. The video is about perceptions of video games as art and the audiences respect for that

@DireRavennn HD project is pretty good but the real star of the show is re4tweaks. It makes a game with objectively outdated controls play better than the remake in every way. It's so good it should be official and downloaded automatically

@Joan53672820438 Why do people want re4r to have re4 combat elements when the remake very clearly has its own distinct combat system. Who is gonna stop using the pistol in such a resource-management heavy game? Infinite ammo players are such a small minority too so this is just nonsense

No way people can spout nonsense like this when both no merchant and regular speedruns for re4 game cycle through more weapons and gernades than all of re9. People stopped using the handgun entirely in re9. Yet somehow in the game where the meta is parry spam and heavy weapon-

@bartonovopolis Less reliable headshot stun puts pressure on you to use more weapons. Their value goes up. It's a good thing you can't just pop everyone with 1 TMP round and then go kick everyone with an i-frame roundhouse.

tech I been using in #ResidentEvil9 w/ the alligator snapper/other weapons - after experimenting with how to best proc stuns for melee for the last 3 days (thats a whole topic), started using this quirk ; you cancel sprint with ADS for small speed boost - lotta uses (bad clips)

(#Ultrakill spoilers for fraud) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I think i might know who the P-3 boss will be. Through the whole layer we got a lot of heaven lore and lucifer, suddenly started being mentioned a lot out of nowhere. Maybe HELL is keeping lucifer alive with hell energy.
