And another. From a new number so that they can ignore my STOP. @actblue really should establish a process for cutting these scammers off.

@chrislhayes But the chains, Chris! Why on earth would someone have a New York Fahgettaboudit Mini Kryptonite chain, if they weren’t a professional anarchist?

I feel like I'm losing my mind a little: people understand that "occupying buildings on campus" is, like, one of the most common forms of studen protest for decades and not some devious new ploy devised by professional anarchist plotters, right?

It is deeply hilarious for the owner of this house that they bought for $2.5M a few years ago (then heavily renovated) to be whining about building housingon a parking lot a block away.

@chrislhayes @steve_vladeck Alito’s naked partisanship/hackery is breathtaking. It’s just so transparent. The others are so much more conscious of how they come off.

We’re almost through Mitchell’s argument and there hasn’t been a *single* substantive question about whether Trump engaged in insurrection. That’s … not a good sign for a ruling *affirming* the Colorado Supreme Courf.

@teej_m @pdrmnvd Agree. In that type of data, ignoring the bad data and waiting for the next correct reading often solves the problem. There’s a “correct” value and either the data reverts or it stays wrong and then you deal with it. Whereas what’s the correct value for sales on Monday after NYE?

@pdrmnvd Entirely overrated. It works best on “signal”-style data that repeats often and predictably: like thermometer readings or CPU utilization of a server. It’s terrible for data driven by human behavior (traffic, clicks, usage, etc)

@RogerSchaeffer5 @richmintz Sure. If you’re refining it like Guzzoline, you’re good. But Last of Us? Station 11? Walking Dead? Takes a lot of infrastructure to keep refining gasoline

Not gonna repost it but “it’s the end of civilization, what kind of car are you buying” is a perfect encapsulation of how broken this country is Like … no car, literally the last thing that will be of use to me after the end of civilization is a car
