Andon Labs tested their AI agent Mona, built on Google’s Gemini, by letting it manage a real cafeteria in Stockholm for two weeks on a $21,000 budget.
Mona spent heavily on unnecessary supplies, including 6,000 napkins, 3,000 gloves, and 300 cans of tomatoes, while forgetting to order bread.
Sandwiches had to be removed from the menu entirely.
The cafeteria generated only $5,700 in sales.
Mona also sent messages to staff on Slack outside working hours.

Seattle has one of the worst housing crises in the country. I see it every time I’m home in my district. People working full-time jobs who can’t afford rent. Teachers, nurses, and transit workers who can’t live in the city they serve. Families on housing assistance waiting lists that have been frozen for years. This is a policy failure, not an inevitability. We built this crisis by choosing developers over people. We can choose differently. Housing is a human right. We fight for it like one.

I might get cancelled for this one - but it’s been on my mind. I want to meet women in tech who are building the tech - coders, engineers, developers. I am still kind of confused where we lost the plot with the term “tech” - and how it now basically means a startup, and not engineering. Tbh when i go to tech events, i want to meet people who can relate to my experiences. In the future, I’d love to see more distinction - maybe we start going as women in software instead? What do you think? Am i about to get so much hate? 😳🙈 aaaaaa
