@RossBarkan Don’t sleep on the Dems having just won control of the legislatures in Duchess and Onondaga Counties. That bodes well for blue areas of upstate turning out for Hochul, which means Stefanik should be cooked (knock on wood.)

Give results in VA and NJ and the general midterm environment, hard to see how Hochul loses next year. One motivating factor for Democrats will be Hochul's ability to preside over a Democratic House gerrymander later this decade. She can sell that as the stakes of the race.

I’ve been burned so many times in the past. I’ve had high hopes and expectations for many politicians that I’ve admired, only to see them disappoint me when they get into office.
But Mamdani is not even in office yet and he is already making this city a better place.
