@ADCVanguard_ Your interpretation says more about your intellectual depth than the statement itself. You've turned a simple point into a spectacular display of confusion & delulu. A motor park union would be lucky to have such unwavering commitment to missing the point.

@AishaYesufu Madam, if the plot sat undeveloped for 15 years, what exactly was the owner waiting for—a royal invitation? Due process must be followed, no argument there. But the law also permits reclaiming long-abandoned plots. "Land banking" isn't a lifetime ownership cheat code.@GovWike

Wike Told The Nation Unprovoked How He Grabbed Julius Berger’s Land In 2024! He Even Repeated It To The Judges Themselves!!!! He gleefully told the world how he unjustly grabbed that land without following due process. Everyone of those judges that accept those houses are partaking in illegality and have no moral justification to trial people doing same!
TheCable@thecableng

“This land belongs to Julius Berger Plc, and when I looked at the records, 15 years ago they were given the property, and there was no development. I said, ‘Well, we want to build judges’ quarters, so give me this land.’ For 15 years, there was no development, so we took back our land. And all over social media, they were calling me a land grabber. I didn’t bother myself. I knew where I was going.”

@Onsogbu He's suffering from the classic "commercial bank marketer" syndrome—where success is measured by how much cash you can attract and pile up. Small wonder he thinks success in leadership is measured by how much you saved - even though his successors debunked this purported savings.

@ADCVanguard_ Interesting. ABAT supposedly fears only two people, yet their camps can't stop arguing over who tops the fear rankings. Good to know the President doesn't fear the people he leads. Meanwhile, the "érùjéjé" in @ADCVanguard_ & @ndccommbureau can keep celebrating in their "feardom"

The Atiku/Amaechi ticket has not been officially confirmed, but the panic around the mere possibility is already telling. Some people are asking whether Rotimi Amaechi has “stooped” to become running mate. That is the wrong way to look at politics. Leadership is not about ego. It is about timing, sacrifice, calculation, and national interest. If Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi eventually emerge on one ticket, it will not be a small political development. It will be one of the most experienced combinations in Nigeria’s democratic journey. Atiku brings economic experience, national reach, private-sector understanding, and decades of political negotiation. Amaechi brings executive experience, grassroots toughness, South-South political weight, former governors’ network, federal exposure, and the courage to stand in difficult political battles. That is not “stooping.” That is strategy. Politics is not comedy. It is not about who shouted during an interview or who sounded angry before cameras. Serious politicians understand that personal emotion must sometimes give way to national rescue. Nigeria is in a deep hole. Hunger is real. Insecurity is real. Businesses are collapsing. Young people are tired. Families are under pressure. This is not the time for childish pride. A strong opposition ticket must do three things: unite the country, challenge APC’s structure, and present a serious alternative to the hardship Nigerians are facing. An Atiku/Amaechi ticket, if confirmed, has the capacity to do exactly that. Those laughing today know why they are nervous. They know such a ticket would speak to the North, the South-South, the business community, the political class, and ordinary Nigerians who simply want competence back in government. Until it is officially announced, let us treat it as speculation. But one thing is clear: the fear of that possibility alone has already entered the room.

Has it been confirmed that Rotimi Amaechi will be Atiku’s running mate?? So after feigning anger at that interviewer for asking him if he’d be VP candidate, Amaechi still stooped? Lmao! Only God knows what they promised him. That thing they said about everybody and price…

Peter Obi saying Nigerians do not need to know how he will generate 10,000MW is not confidence. It is entitlement wearing technocratic perfume. 🤣 How can a man asking for the highest office in the land tell citizens, “It is not for you to know how”? Sir, this is not family meeting. This is a presidential election. Electricity is not delivered by “believe in me.” Power generation, transmission and distribution require policy clarity, investment strategy, gas supply, grid reform, metering, state participation, private capital, regulation, security of infrastructure and serious execution timelines. But when asked for the roadmap, Obi said Nigerians should just look at the man talking. Which man exactly? The same man who built his brand on “go and verify” but now says “don’t ask how”? The same man who wants evidence from everybody else but wants Nigerians to vote him on blind trust? Premium contradiction. Atiku has a blueprint. Others have policy documents. Obi has “believe me.” This is the problem with political packaging. Once you scratch the surface, the plan disappears and moral branding takes over. Nigeria cannot be powered by reputation. The national grid will not respond to vibes. Transformers will not obey motivational speaking. Investors will not bring billions because somebody said, “I have my name on it.” Leadership is not magic. Governance is not “trust me bro.” A candidate who cannot explain how he will deliver 10,000MW should not be angry when Nigerians question whether he is prepared. The job is President of Nigeria, not chairman of faith-based electricity committee. If your plan is solid, explain it. If your roadmap exists, show direction. If you studied Indonesia, India and Egypt, tell Nigerians what you learned and how you will adapt it here. But telling voters they do not need to know is exactly how unserious leaders hide empty promises behind personal branding. Obi promised light, but his answer entered darkness. Data is brutal.

I will not tell Nigerians how I will generate 10,000MW of electricity. It’s not for them to know. They just have to believe me and vote for me — Peter Obi The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has insisted that Nigerians do not need to know how he plans to deliver 10,000 megawatts of electricity if elected president, saying they only need to trust him based on his track record. Speaking during an interview with media personality Rufai Oseni, Obi was pressed to explain his promise to increase Nigeria’s power generation capacity to at least 10,000MW within four years. When asked to provide a detailed roadmap, Obi declined, arguing that political leaders are often judged by their credibility rather than by publicly disclosing every aspect of their plans. “No, no, no, I’m not going to tell you how. It is not for you to know how. It is for you to look at the man who is saying this,” Obi said. The former Anambra governor maintained that he had a history of fulfilling promises while in office and reiterated his commitment to improving Nigeria’s electricity supply. “I have said, and I repeat, that in four years we will generate, transmit, and distribute at least 10,000 megawatts of electricity,” he stated. As Rufai Oseni, the host, continued to demand specifics, Obi stood his ground, insisting that voters should focus on whether they trust him to deliver. “They don’t need to know. They need to believe in me,” he said. Obi also criticized successive governments over Nigeria’s power sector, claiming that no new government-owned power plant had been commissioned since 2015.  He contrasted Nigeria’s performance with countries such as Indonesia, India and Egypt, which he said significantly expanded their electricity generation capacity over the same period. According to Obi, achieving higher power output is “not rocket science,” adding that he has studied successful models in other countries and understands what is required to replicate such progress in Nigeria. “My commitment is that I will deliver it. I have my name on it,” he said.

Rufai: “People always criticize you that your criticism of President Tinubu is quite shallow, and that you hardly provide solutions to what you would have done regarding the national situation, even on electricity where you claim you would target 10,000 megawatts if you become president.” Mr Peter Obi: “What people do is because I do not have the sophistication of the media and everything, somebody once said, ‘If I don't give you electricity, don't vote for me.’ Did they question him then on how he would do that? So why must my own be in the marketplace? The reason I am different is that what I promised as governor, I delivered.” — NDC presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.

Rufai Oseni: “Arabambi said you took a lot of money from Labour Party donations during the last election, and he claims to have evidence.” Mr Peter Obi: “If the so-called Arabambi can provide evidence from any account showing that even 1 percent of what he alleged is missing, I will stop campaigning for the 2027 election. In fact, I may add him to the lawsuit so he can come to court and provide the evidence, just that he don't have address.”
