Activists in London protested against complicity of London-based company Socar for supplying Israel with oil and supporting its genocide machine. Protesters chanted: "Your hands are covered in Palestinian blood, and you are trying to hide it." Socar supplied Israel with 40% of its crude oil needs. This contributed to the genocide of the Palestinians.

On the other hand, these pieces present European settlers as noble victims who are on Indigenous lands for noble purposes. History books and museums do no better in conveying the truth, as history is still mostly told through the European settlers’ lenses. It is now undeniable, @HillelNeuer and @UNWatch were among the primary originators of the malicious mischaracterization and lies directed at @FranceskAlbs. Austria’s @BMeinl has already deleted her tweet containing the misinformation. While she did so without an apology, the deletion is a silent admission of the error. Now that the "common enemy" claim has been proven a fabrication, why are those who manufactured the lie not being held accountable? The tactic is clear, manufacture a scandal to bury the facts. There must be consequences. @hillelneuer and @unwatch must feel the consequences.
