Golf keeps talking about how distance is making the game too easy for pros. Meanwhile, they keep cutting down trees and opening up courses more. The solution has nothing to do with the balls and everything to do with course construction. Trees, Rocks, Water are the answer

My son is doing @PGAJrLeague this year and it is EXCELLENT for kids, like..so awesome with a scramble format. Tried to tell my buddies about it but in the Philly area all are country club member only. That is borderline disgusting. They need to fix this.

As a VERY fast golfer (solo I am done in ~2 hours with a cart) I think it's less about the objective time but more about the perception. I've had 5 hour rounds that felt "fast" and 3:45 rounds that felt "slow" based on the group in front of me.

I need your help. I need some clever DIY targets that can be placed on a driving range. These will be used for wedge shots in the 50-110 yard range. They need to be "somewhat" easy to move once a week when they mow the grass. They need to not get blown around/over if it gets windy. They need to be highly visible. They need to last for one season. Not opposed to buying targets if they are not expensive. What do ya got for me?

This week I’m hoping to check off the “sleep in your car for a time at bethpage” bucket list item. Planning on getting there around 5pm the night before. Do we think I get on?

@dmodjr Was ticket 6(80), they started at about 615. Due to the rain canceling about two hours the black course sold out around 660 maybe. I ended up getting a time for 11:18am on the red course

@91HuskerFan Love the course but noticed it has been plummeting down ranking lists lately. Wondering if its getting beat up or if the increasing cost to play is hurting it.
