@BlurBusters @BrylanBBishops thanks info I’m using 8000.I was told that with a strong CPU, there’s no need to lower it to 2000 Hz that the CPU can handle it without any drops. I try 2000 though.I also know someone recently made a video saying that 8000 Hz actually brings more negatives than positives.

If your game doesn't drop fps AND it supports it well enough to actually visually become smoother, there's visual benefit even ignoring lag. Suboptimal situations can becomes "ugh" or "no".

Don't just test mouse lag. Test mouse jitter too.
- 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000 Hz polling
- Test with 600 Hz, 720 Hz, 1080 Hz display
- Harmonics of Display Hz vs Mouse Hz more visible
- Supersample mouse Hz by 2-4x+ if prioritizing visuals
- Left = 1000 Hz poll, Right = 8000 Hz poll

@BlurBusters @BrylanBBishops If I’m using a 360Hz OLED monitor at 1440p, my FPS ranges around 300 and can go above 360+ in Warzone. I have a 9800X3D CPU and a Razer Viper Pro 4 mouse would you still recommend 2000 Hz? Gsync off vrr off and using vsync fixed control panel and game is unlimited cap

Depends. I've seen people improve with extreme Hz, and others worsen with lower Hz. Also LCD vs OLED can play a role, especially if slow pixel response helps attenuate certain effects.
Sometimes it's an intermediate window (triggers at intermedate rates [10...200]. Some people find relief keeping frame rates well into triple digits, other people find relief going low (e.g. switching display to 24Hz).
Personally I like the brute-force options, but realize that not all content can keep away from the bad person-specific regions!
