Take 2. Mistakes have hurt Newcastle more than anything Howe has or hasn’t done. Even with just 13 mistakes ( league average) they’d be pushing for top 5.

🚨 - #NUFC Under-21s continued their strong form with a comfortable 2-0 league win against Blackburn at Whitley Park tonight. 😮💨 First-half stunners from Sean Neave and Park Seung-soo were enough to secure an important three points for United’s youngsters in this one, on a bitterly cold Benton outing. ❄️ The young Magpies established their dominance early and deservedly took the lead just 13 minutes in through another moment of brilliance from Neave. The Geordie striker received the ball from Seung-soo following a turnover, before spinning his man inside out and crashing a left-footed effort into the roof of the net. 🔥 The buoyant hosts doubled their lead and ultimately decided the game even further when Seung-soo picked up a loose ball on the edge of the penalty area and curled a gorgeous strike into the very top right corner four minutes before the break. 🚀 It was a great all-round team performance from Newcastle, with the likes of Miodrag Pivas, Rory Finneran and Kyle Fitzgerald also impressing hugely throughout. Another encouraging showing from the lads, well done all! 💪🏽
