So the Orthodox believe in filoque, they are Augustinian in Original sin? Are they happy to describe what happens to the eucharist transubstantiation? These churches you listed are they submissive to your Pope? Your claim, excuse me, is over stated. Almost all the world used to believe the earth was flat. Your claim that because these churches you share in "common" is imaginary and truth is not affirmed by the majority. So does Athanasius believe that the bread is no longer there and has become flesh? Can you explain the meaning of "confected".

@extranosky @josephnollasj We have proof because all churches with apostolic tradition follow the same core beliefs despite divisions dating back to 1100 years before the "Reformation": Transubstantiation, intercession of saints, icons, veneration of the Holy Virgin,Theotokos, Mother of God and more.

@IFFFMEISTER What if the concept of God or of Christ that was formed in the person is not the one revealed in Scripture? What sort of "gospel" do these people rely on? St Paul spoke about the gifts of the Spirit and miracles is one of them but we do not have relics in the list of gifts.

If you want to love the ancient traditions of your fathers in the faith, you first have love the traditions you inherited from your actual fathers. Otherwise, "tradition" will become cosplay and doctrine will become entirely secondary to aesthetics.

Listen, fellow Lutherans, we’ve got to stop throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Stop rejecting the traditional liturgy, stop being afraid of incense, and stop acting like icons or prayer beads are some kind of "enemy" territory. These things don't belong to the Romanists or the Orthodox. They are ours just as much as they are theirs. Honestly, one of the biggest rhetorical tricks they play on us is making people feel like "real" Protestants are plain and boring. But why are we just handing these things over to them? They aren't their exclusive property. They belong to the whole Church, and they belong to us in the fullest sense.

From what I know your apostate church believe in transubstantiation, no more bread, no more wine at consecration replaced by body and blood. Athanasius in using the language of coming in is more like the Lutheran sacramental union both bread, wine are there united w body and blood of Christ. You are the ones who departed from catholicism. You are the ones who invent something Scripture did not teach.

When I look back in my life I see so much providence. To think that I was born into the Mormon church and ended up baptized and married as a Christian in my adulthood. To think that I met my wife when we were both unbelievers and that God worked through even that.
